JACK PRATT 's
life
can be described as "a series of successes and unexpected turns."
One can see that he's a man not prone to "beating around the bush". He
is a Texas native, where he went to college, achieving a degree in
Engineering. After serving in the United States Army and returning from
his last tour of service in Vietnam, he turned to management earning his
MBA. He has had stints of senior executive positions in the Health Care,
Aero Space, Food & Beverage, Publishing, Energy and Financial
industries, prior to moving into Management Consulting, where he
successfully consults with organizations through many successful
challenges.
While
Mr. Pratt immerses himself in the principles of hard work,
honesty, loyalty and dedication, he also has the hands on practical
business experience of working with and leading at all the various
managerial levels within an organization, focusing on results, creating
enthusiasm and leading change along the way. He is also
aware that the client wants to be associated with a firm that not only
has credibility, but expertise, specialization and a genuine identity of
interest in the clients timely return on investment.
MR. PRATT
is President and Chief Executive Officer of Summit Advisors, Inc., a
Texas-based diversified global management consulting firm, providing
consulting services to domestic and international clientele. Mr. Pratt
is an experienced Management Professional who has captured the human
side of Management. He is a personal coach to many senior executives and
for over 20 years he has successfully assisted individuals and
businesses, both nationally and internationally, from small to fortune
100 companies, within a variety of industries including aerospace, bio
tech, chemical, communications, computer, energy, engineering,
financial, food & beverage, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceutical,
publishing, real estate, transportation, utilities, municipal, state and
federal governments.
He
has extensive practical experience as a problem solver for organization and
leadership development, team building, and management training. As a member of
the National Speakers Association he speaks extensively on matters relating to
management, leadership, change, finance, the economy, the future and
globalization. He has been a keynote speaker at many national conventions, in
house corporate training programs, various seminars and is also a consultant to
the American Management Association (AMA). Jack is a professional speaker and
frequent guest on radio and TV programs focusing on management and leadership.
He is consistently interviewed by various publications, including Wall Street
Journal, Houston Chronicle, Houston Business Journal and Money Magazine.
Mr. Pratt serves on
the Board of Directors of several companies and is listed in Who’s
Who? He has extensive practical executive experience as a visionary,
problem solver and change agent specializing in organizational and
leadership development, executive coaching, team building, customized
management training and human resources. As a member of the National
Speakers Association he speaks extensively on matters relating to
management, the economy, critical thinking, the future and
globalization. He has been a keynote speaker at many national
conventions, in house corporate training programs, various seminars and
is also a consultant to the American Management Association (AMA).
Jack has been an
active leader in various industry organizations, including working with
the United States Congress on human capital and labor relations matters. He has the hands on practical business experience of working with and managing at all the various managerial levels within an organization, focusing on results, creating enthusiasm and
effectively leading change along the way.
In addition to holding
leadership positions in various work-related organizations, Pratt is
actively involved with numerous charitable, civic and cultural
organizations. His current and past civic activities include the Rotary
Club of Houston (President 1997-98) Assistant District Governor
(1998-2000), Greater Houston Partnership (Member Services Advisory
Committee), United Way, American Cancer Society and the Kerrville Rotary
Club. Mr. Pratt is also Chairman of the Drug Free Youth in Texas Program
(D-FY-IT), and works extensively Arms of Hope which is an organization
that focuses on helping abused, homeless and neglected children and
single mothers. He is also actively involved Kerrville's economic
